On Tuesday night, the three of us went to the awards ceremony for the French TD Canadian Children’s Literature Awards at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts!

What's the TD Award? It's one of the biggest prizes for Canadian children's literature. It is awarded once a year.

The English award will be given in November.

This year, the French prize was awarded to Andrée Poulin for...

By Andrée Poulin
JROM POU

Summary: On his 14th birthday, Thomas remembers his best birthday ever: his 5th, on which his mother made him the best poutine ever. Several years after her unexplained departure, the boy wants to find a way to bring her back. He decides to make the biggest poutine in the world. If he manages to get media attention, maybe his mother will notice and come back into his life.

Congratulations as well to the finalists...
