The Wonders of Nature


Can you believe that Beaconsfield has already read more than 1200 hours? After just three weeks? You are amazing! Keep up the great work and we will beat records!





Next week, from July 16 to 20, our theme will be the natural world!

Here is the schedule of activities that will take place at the library next week: 

For the whole family (free, drop-in)
  • Monday, July 16, from 2 to 3 p.m.: DUPLO & LEGO Club (ages 3 to 12) - Come show us your building skills!
  • Tuesday, July 17 from 11 to 11:30 a.m.: Storytime at Windermere Park – Stories, songs, and rhymes!
  • Thursday, July 19 from 10 to 10:30 a.m.: Family Storytime – Stories, songs, and rhymes!
  • Friday, July 20 from 10 to 11 a.m.: Crafty Friday – Make a 3D snail!
  • Friday, July 20 from 2 to 2:30: Storytime at Beacon Hill Park – Stories, songs, and rhymes!

For Preschoolers
  •  Tuesday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to noon:  Land Art (ages 3 to 8) – Create a work of art with leaves, pine cones, twigs, and pebbles.  Registration required at the library($2 for members)
  
For School-Age Children
  • Monday, July 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Monday Night LEGO and Craft (ages 7 to 12) - Come do the weekly LEGO challenge or make a craft! Free, drop-in.
  • Wednesday, July 18 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.: Knitting Club (ages 7 to 12) – Learn to knit by making a scarf for your favourite stuffed animal! Free, drop-in.
  • Thursday, July 19 from 2 to 3 p.m.: The Fossils of Montreal (ages 5 to 12) – Create your own fossil replica that you can take home! Registration required at the library. ($2 for members). 

For Teens

  • Tuesday, July 17 at 6:30 p.m.: Movie: Ghostbusters (1984). In English, with French subtitles.. Free, drop-in.
